The Senior Research Associate (SRA) will be primarily responsible for project management of APA’s various research projects (federal or non-federal) studies (80% effort). In addition, the incumbent will provide effort to other Division of Research tasks such as project management assistant on DSM-5 related task aimed at the maintenance and revisions of DSM-5, harmonization with ICD, and the writing of pertinent DSM-related manuscripts and chapter revisions as well as grant proposals and associated deliverables (20% effort).

This position provides support to daily operations of the APAF Funded Fellowship Programs and the Psychiatry Ambassadors and Student Scholars (PASS) Program, including responding to internal and external APAF fellowship correspondences, assisting with application, selection, and onboarding processes of APAF funded fellowships, processing expense and reimbursements, coordinating travel accommodations to APA meetings and fellowship related activities, and maintaining Fellows databases.

The Foundation Partnerships Officer is responsible for identifying and securing diversified revenue opportunities for the Foundation through new partnerships, channels and business models. This includes forming and cultivating relationships with the largest charitable foundations to ensure the proactive inclusion of APAF in grant opportunity solicitations.
