Abasiophilia

Abasiophilia is a sexual interest or attraction to people who use leg braces or other mobility devices. It is considered a paraphilia, which is a term used to describe sexual interests that are outside of the mainstream or that may be considered abnormal by some people. People with abasiophilia may be attracted to the physical differences that are present as a result of the use of mobility devices, or they may be attracted to the perceived vulnerability or perceived strength of the person using the device. It is important to note that abasiophilia, like all sexual interests, is not inherently harmful or wrong, but it is important for people to respect the boundaries and consent of their partners. If you have questions about your own sexual interests or if you are concerned about someone else’s behavior, it is important to speak with a mental health professional or other trusted individual for support and guidance.
